Tinubu Assures Military of Victory Over Terrorism

On Friday, during an interfaith breakfast service at the State House in Abuja, President Bola Tinubu assured the Nigerian military and paramilitary agencies that Nigeria will prevail over terrorism and banditry, despite recent deadly attacks in Borno State. He expressed sympathy for the victims and shared the pain of Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Zulum, regarding the recent terrorist attacks that claimed lives in the state.

Tinubu acknowledged the sacrifices made by military personnel and their families in confronting terrorism and banditry across the country, emphasizing that their efforts are not in vain. He also highlighted the need for enhanced military resources and support, stating that the welfare of military personnel and their families remains a top priority.

Tinubu linked the security challenges to broader economic reforms, assuring that the sacrifices of citizens would yield positive results, and expressed optimism about Nigeria's resilience in overcoming challenges.
