Nigerian Army Captures IPOB Commander 'Gentle de Yahoo' and Rescues Kidnap Victims

The Nigerian Army captured Ifeanyi Eze Okorienta, known as 'Gentle de Yahoo,' a notorious commander of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) armed wing, Eastern Security Network (ESN). The operation led by the 34 Artillery Brigade in collaboration with security agencies resulted in the seizure of weapons, including pistols and ammunition, from Okorienta's hideout in Imo State.

Additionally, the Army rescued 11 kidnap victims across Adamawa, Katsina, and Kogi States, while neutralizing two terrorists and seizing charms and mobile phones. The coordinated mission aimed to dismantle criminal networks and ensure the safety of citizens in various regions.
