Nigerian Army Arrests Notorious Terrorists, Terror Suspects Surrender in Major Operations

The Nigerian Army has made significant strides in the fight against terrorism, arresting two notorious suspects and having three others surrender. One of the arrested individuals is a well-known kidnap kingpin, while the other is a suspected terrorist attempting to infiltrate a town.

The operations, conducted between October 7 and October 9, involved troops from different units collaborating with the Department of State Services (DSS). The arrests were made in Akwa Ibom and Borno states, with the suspects being linked to terrorist activities in Chad and Niger Republic.

The successful operations highlight the ongoing efforts to combat insurgency in the country.
