Nigerian Bank Customers Support CBN's 24-48-Hour ATM Refund Policy

Nigerian bank customers, represented by the Bank Customers Association of Nigeria (BCAN) President Dr. Uju Ogubunka, strongly back the Central Bank of Nigeria's (CBN) draft guidelines for a 24-48-hour ATM refund policy for failed transactions.

The policy seeks to streamline ATM operations, ensure faster refunds, and enhance security measures. BCAN emphasizes the importance of prompt refunds, while also supporting the CBN's mandate for ATM repair within 72 hours to reduce downtime.

The move aims to improve overall banking services and customer satisfaction in Nigeria.
