Israel Adesanya Retains UFC Middleweight Title with Unanimous Decision Win

Nigerian-born Israel Adesanya successfully defended his UFC Middleweight Title against Jar Cannonier at UFC 276 in Las Vegas. Adesanya controlled the fight, winning via unanimous decision with scores of 49-46, 49-46, and 50-45.

This victory marked Adesanya's fifth successful defense of the middleweight championship. Adesanya had previously lost in a bid for the light heavyweight title against Jan Blachowicz.

Cannonier, the No. 1 contender, was unable to match Adesanya's level in the fight.
