Nigerian Breweries Reports N161 Billion Profit in FY2025

Nigerian Breweries Plc announced a pre-tax profit of N161.06 billion for the financial year 2025, marking a significant recovery from a loss of N182.9 billion in 2024. The company's full-year revenue climbed by 35.32% to N1.467 trillion, primarily supported by local sales of brewed products, which accounted for N1.464 trillion.

Export sales contributed an additional N2.4 billion. The cost of sales was reported at N902.2 billion, resulting in a gross profit of N565.1 billion, up from N319.9 billion in 2024.

The group recorded an income of N4.1 billion mainly from the sale of scrap and the disposal of property and plant equipment. However, operating expenses increased, with selling and distribution costs rising by 37.24% to N278.9 billion and administrative expenses increasing by 77.21% to N82.8 billion.

As of February 13, 2026, the market reacted to these results with a share price decline of 0.43%, standing at N80 year-to-date.
