Nigerian Breweries Reports N1.46trn Revenue for 2025

Nigerian Breweries Plc announced a revenue of N1.46 trillion for the financial year ending December 2025, representing a 35% increase from N1.08 trillion reported in the 2024 financial year. The company's gross profit for the fourth quarter of the financial year rose to N565 billion, a 77% increase compared to N320 billion in the corresponding period of 2024.

The cost of sales increased from N765 billion in 2024 to N902 billion in 2025, while market distribution and administrative expenses grew by 43% from N254 billion in 2024 to N364 billion in 2025. Uaboi Agbebaku, the company secretary and legal director, attributed the revenue growth to sustained innovation, premium pricing, and strong commercial execution.

The group's operating profit grew by 190%, and net profit rebounded by 168% from a net loss the previous year, aided by an 83% reduction in net financial costs. Despite positive results, the company’s retained earnings remain negative due to heavy net losses over the last two years.
