MSM Group Unveils $15bn Oil Reserve Discovery, Plans Expansion in Energy Sector

Nigerian conglomerate, MSM Group, has discovered an oil reserve valued at over $15 billion, with the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) unaware of its existence. Chairman Muazzam Mairawani revealed the discovery, emphasizing the company's expansion and fresh investments in the energy sector.

MSM Frontier Capital's acquisition and IPO transaction worth $225 million are in the final stages, with plans to use the proceeds for further expansion in Nigeria's energy sector. The conglomerate, operating across various industries, aims to contribute to job creation and industrial growth in Africa.
