Firm to build 12m tons capacity cement factory in Kebbi

MSM Group Chairman, Muazzam Mairawani, announced plans to build a 12 million tons capacity cement factory in Kebbi during a press conference in Abuja. The project, costing $600 million, is part of the company's cluster development strategy.

MSM Group, operating since 2017 and managing OML 98, aims to support the federal government's goal of achieving a production of 2 million barrels of crude oil per day. The company's asset, OML 98, initially had reserves of 118 million barrels, but recent discoveries have increased this to 244 million barrels.

MSM Oil & Gas utilizes seismic data and technical expertise in their operations. The company is transparent in its operations and is set to raise $225 million through an IPO in the United States.

Without the support of the president, MSM Group would not have been able to achieve its goals.
