TotalEnergies Applauds Nigerian Engineers for Delivering Global-Standard Oil and Gas Projects

TotalEnergies commended Nigerian engineers for successfully executing projects like the Egina deepwater and Ikike shallow water projects, demonstrating Nigeria's engineering prowess in the oil and gas industry. The Egina project, a collaboration between TotalEnergies, NNPC, CNOOC, and SAPETRO, significantly contributed to Nigeria's oil output. TotalEnergies' approach focuses on human capacity development, industry alignment, and sustainable local content creation through partnerships with local contractors and the NCDMB.

The Egina project, located off the Nigerian coast, is one of the country's deepest offshore fields and has been a key player in Nigeria's oil production, reaching peak output in late 2018.
