Nigerian Navy Opens 2026 Recruitment Drive for Batch 39 Basic Training

The Nigerian Navy is now recruiting for Batch 39 of its Basic Training School as part of the 2026 recruitment initiative. Candidates interested in applying have from October 2 through October 31, 2026, to submit their applications using the Navy's official online recruitment portal.

This announcement was made public by the Navy via its social media channels on Monday. To qualify, prospective participants must meet several conditions.

They must be Nigerian citizens by birth and hold a valid National Identification Number (NIN). Additional requirements include appropriate educational qualifications, age specifications, sound physical health, and medical fitness.

The Navy has emphasized that the entire process carries no cost, and it has warned candidates against paying any individuals who claim to have connections or leverage over the recruitment exercise. Throughout the application period spanning October 2–31, all candidates should finalize their entries through the official recruitment website.
