Nigerian Pharmacists Gain Global Research Recognition

Nigerian pharmacists have achieved significant global recognition through the acceptance of two research studies for presentation. Iyeseun Asieba, Chairperson of the CPACPI Board, will present a study examining systemic barriers affecting career advancement for community pharmacists in Nigeria.

Omokhaf Mari Ashor will present a study investigating the motivational characteristics and behavior patterns of pharmacists within the CPACPI framework. Chukwuemeka Ubaka leads the abstract supervision, while Ambros Igwekamma Ezeh, National Chairman of the Association of Community Pharmacists of Nigeria, expressed satisfaction with the growing international recognition of Nigerian pharmaceutical practices.

Ezeh emphasized the importance of eliminating professional complacency and promoting continuous professional development among pharmacists to improve patient outcomes and strengthen pharmaceutical care services nationwide. The acceptance of these studies reinforces Nigeria's contributions to pharmaceutical innovation and workforce development within the global healthcare community.
