Nigerian Pilots and Engineers Launch Loss of License Insurance Cover for Aviation Professionals

The Nigerian Association of Aircraft Pilots and Engineers (NAAP) has launched a loss of license insurance cover for Nigerian pilots and aircraft engineers. This initiative aims to provide financial compensation to members who lose their professional licenses due to medical incapacitation.

The scheme, developed in partnership with an insurance broker, seeks to safeguard aviation personnel's welfare and promote stability within the sector. NAAP's President, Bunmi Gindeh, emphasized the importance of this insurance cover in protecting individuals and their families, strengthening the aviation industry, and ensuring a highly trained workforce.

The Deputy President, Mudi Muhammad, highlighted the program's significance in supporting colleagues facing financial hardships due to unexpected medical conditions.
