Air Peace Makes Historic Direct Flight from Brazil to Nigeria, Strengthening Global Ties

Nigeria's aviation sector achieved a significant milestone with Air Peace operating the first direct flight from Brazil to Nigeria on August 27, 2025, following a Bilateral Air Services Agreement. The flight landed at Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos.

Minister Muhammed Idris highlighted the flight's importance in promoting Nigeria's global partnerships and trade. The Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, emphasized the historical significance of this direct route.

The flight aimed to strengthen ties between the two countries. On board were Brazilian Ministers of Art, Culture, and Creativity.

This development signifies a step towards enhancing Nigeria's presence in global aviation.
