Oluremi Tinubu Inaugurates Projects in Benue State

On a recent visit to Benue State, Nigeria's First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, inaugurated ten newly completed intra-city road projects in Makurdi, which cover approximately 11.5 kilometers. This initiative is part of a broader urban renewal program implemented by the state governor, Rev.

Father Hyacinth Alia. During the inauguration, Tinubu expressed her satisfaction with the infrastructural improvements in the state and commended Governor Alia's visionary leadership and commitment to delivering democratic dividends to the people of Benue State.

She noted that the new roads would enhance access, reduce travel time, and improve connectivity within Makurdi. Additionally, she inaugurated a newly constructed community ICT training center in Vandekiya local government, developed in partnership with the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA).

This center aims to accelerate economic diversification and digitalization, named after the renowned educationist, Luci Zaiyol. Tinubu also announced support for 1,000 women petty traders, providing each with fifty thousand naira (₦50,000).
