Super Eagles to Face Jordan in March Friendly Match

Nigeria’s Super Eagles are set to play against the Jordan National Football Team in a friendly match scheduled for March in Amman. This match is part of Jordan's preparations for their inaugural appearance in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

However, Nigeria's participation in the World Cup remains uncertain and is dependent on FIFA's regulations regarding the eligibility of countries. The Super Eagles previously faced elimination by the Democratic Republic of Congo's national football team through penalties in last year’s African playoff final.

Additionally, discussions are underway for the Super Eagles to play against Iran in March, which would further prepare them for the upcoming tournament. Jordan has been drawn into a challenging World Cup group that includes defending champions Argentina, Algeria, and Austria.
