Super Eagles to Begin Camp for Jordan Tournament March 2026

The Super Eagles, Nigeria's senior national football team, are set to begin their training camp on March 24, 2026, ahead of a four-nation invitational tournament scheduled in Amman, Jordan, during the FIFA international window. The tournament will see Nigeria face Iran first on March 27 at the Amman International Stadium, which has a capacity of 17,000, and conclude their campaign against the host nation, Jordan, on March 31.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has confirmed that preparations will start soon, coinciding with the FIFA window. Despite ongoing negotiations regarding contract terms, head coach Eric Chell is expected to lead the team throughout the tournament.

Meanwhile, Nigeria is awaiting a FIFA decision regarding a complaint against DR Congo for allegedly fielding an ineligible player during Nigeria's 2-4 penalty shootout loss in the final of the 2026 FIFA World Cup playoff.
