NIMASA and TASAC Sign MoU to Boost Regional Maritime Cooperation

The Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) and Tanzania Ship Agencies Cooperation (TASAC) have strengthened regional collaboration through a high-level bilateral meeting. The meeting, held during the IMO General Assembly, endorsed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to advance maritime surveillance, seafarer capacity development, and digital information systems.

The MoU signifies a new phase of regional maritime cooperation aimed at improving operational efficiency and governance to support sustainable growth across Africa. Key attendees included NIMASA's Director-General Dr.

Dayo Mobereola and Tanzania's Permanent Representative to the IMO, Dr. Devotha Edward Mandanda.
