NIPOST Launches Digital Payment Platform for Parcels, Promises Faster Deliveries

The Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST) has introduced a fully automated digital payment platform for inbound international parcels, aiming to streamline customer payments and improve postal transactions for individuals and businesses. The initiative, launched in Abuja, aligns with President Bola Tinubu's digital agenda and emphasizes innovation and transparency in public service.

Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Bosun Tijani, praised NIPOST for its citizen-centric approach and collaboration with private sector partners like Paystack and Sendbox. The platform is expected to reduce inefficiencies, hidden charges, and delays in postal services, benefiting e-commerce and small businesses in the global market.
