NIPR FCT and TYCI Collaborate to Nurture Future Leaders

The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) FCT chapter, led by Chairman Stanlei Ogadigo, has partnered with the Young Community Initiative (TYCI) to nurture future leaders. This collaboration was announced during an audience with TYCI's leadership team in Abuja.

The partnership aims to implement projects that add value to the nation, focusing on youth and students across various educational institutions. Key initiatives include providing mentorship and leadership training for secondary and tertiary students, as well as establishing the first public relations leadership club in secondary schools within the FCT.

Additionally, NIPR will award the best graduating students in mass communication from higher institutions in the FCT. TYCI's founder, Chineny Priscilla Anaemena, expressed gratitude for NIPR's support in developing leadership talent, particularly through the Vision 2035 AI-Athon project, which includes a speech contest for female prefects in secondary schools.

The partnership will also involve programs aimed at raising awareness of the public relations profession among primary school pupils.
