NLC Accuses Tinubu's Govt of Deliberate Failure Over National Grid Collapse

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) accuses the government led by Tinubu of deliberate failure over the recent national grid collapse. The NLC demands a comprehensive audit of the power sector infrastructure and a review of the privatization model.

NLC President, Comrade Joe Ajaero, urges the government to redirect the trillions spent in the sector towards building new generation capacity and revitalizing transmission infrastructure. The union insists on a public audit of the entire power sector and a fundamental review of the privatization model to address the persistent blackout issues.

Nigerians are no longer willing to accept excuses for the government's alleged failures in the power sector.
