NLC Condoles Edo Deputy Governor Over Mother's Death

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) extended its condolences to Denni Idahosa, the Deputy Governor of Edo State, on the passing of his mother, Mama Esther Imaguomwanruo Idahosa, who died at the age of 95. The condolence letter was signed by Comrade Mondai Lewi Igbafen, the Chairman of the NLC Caretaker Committee in Edo State, and dated May 7, 2026.

The NLC described the late matriarch as a woman whose life was filled with impact and fulfillment. They acknowledged the pain and vacuum her death has created in the family and expressed their heartfelt condolences to the entire Idahosa dynasty.

The union prayed for the deceased's eternal rest and assured Deputy Governor Idahosa of their solidarity and support during this mourning period.
