NLNG Launches $20,000 Creative Arts Prize for Young Nigerian Filmmakers

The Nigerian Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) has introduced a $20,000 Creative Arts Prize aimed at supporting young Nigerian filmmakers aged 18-35 to create documentary films showcasing the nation's identity and spirit. The initiative, part of NLNG's commitment to developing Nigeria's creative potential, will be overseen by an advisory board led by Professor Akachi Adimora Ezeigbo.

The competition will run from February 2026 to October 2026, with the winner announced during a grand award night. NLNG's General Manager, Sophia Horsfal, highlighted the award's significance in fostering unity and understanding through storytelling.
