NMDPRA Plans Gas Production Engagement with Spanish Firm in Port Harcourt

The Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) is set to collaborate with a Spanish firm, CACCHD, for gas production in Port Harcourt, River State. The plan includes exporting urea and fertilizers to enhance industrialization and reduce production costs.

Saidu Moham, the NMDPRA chief executive, highlighted the country's increasing gas reserves and emphasized the role of gas in propelling industrial growth. The initiative aligns with President Bola Tinubu's vision for the oil and gas sector.

The move aims to provide a cleaner energy source and promote domestic gas utilization for industrial development.
