Brighton Women Reach FA Cup Final After Thrilling Comeback

Brighton & Hove Albion Women achieved a historic victory by overcoming a two-goal deficit to defeat Liverpool Women 3-2 in the FA Cup semi-final, marking their first appearance in the final since 1976. The match began poorly for Brighton as Denis O'Sullivan scored to put Liverpool ahead, followed by Beata Olsson doubling the lead within 22 minutes.

However, Brighton's Manuela Vanega ignited their comeback just before halftime. After the restart, Madison Halei equalized, and Kiko Seik's efforts tested Liverpool goalkeeper Jennifer Falk.

In a dramatic finish, Brighton's substitute Aureli Csillag made a crucial save during stoppage time, allowing Nadin Noordam to score the winning goal. Brighton will face Manchester City Women, who secured their final spot with a comeback win against Chelsea Women, in the FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium on May 31.
