Brighton Stages Comeback to Beat Liverpool 3-2 in FA Cup

In a thrilling Women’s FA Cup semi-final on Sunday, Brighton & Hove Albion staged a remarkable comeback to defeat Liverpool 3-2, securing their first-ever appearance in the competition's final. Liverpool initially took a 2-0 lead within the first 22 minutes, with Denis O'Sullivan scoring the first goal and Beata Olsson adding a second.

Brighton responded quickly, with left-back Manuela Vanega pulling one back before halftime. The equalizer came in the second half when Madison Halei headed home, making it 2-2 in the 54th minute.

As extra time approached, substitute Nadin Noordam scored the winning goal in the fifth minute of stoppage time, just six minutes after replacing Fran Kirby. Nigerian goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie played a vital role in preserving Brighton's hopes, making crucial late saves against Liverpool's substitute Aureli Csillag.

Brighton will face either Chelsea or Manchester City in the final at Wembley on May 31.
