Nnamdi Kanu Appeals for Urgent Medical Intervention in DSS Custody

Nnamdi Kanu, in DSS custody, raised concerns about his failing health in a letter to President Bola Tinubu and the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria. Kanu, leader of IPOB, alleged mistreatment since his arrest in Kenya, including health deterioration and denial of medical care.

He urged the NMA to investigate alleged medical record manipulation and requested the release of a medical panel report. The report revealed severe health issues like organ complications, potassium deficiency, and hypertension.

Kanu emphasized the need for independent medical assessment by Professor Martin Aghaji. The Federal High Court ordered the report's submission within four days.

Kanu highlighted his struggles with sleep deprivation and health challenges in detention.
