Federal High Court to Hear Nnamdi Kanu's Urgent Medical Motion

The Federal High Court is set to hear Nnamdi Kanu's motion for urgent medical attention. The motion, filed by Kanu, the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), seeks to transfer him to Abuja National Hospital for medical treatment.

Justice Musa Liman, acting vacation judge, granted the motion ex parte due to the urgency of Kanu's health situation. Kanu is currently standing trial on terrorism charges, with his health deteriorating, necessitating immediate medical intervention.

A medical examination revealed multiple health concerns. Kanu's legal team, led by Chief Kanu Agabi SAN, emphasized the urgency of the situation, requesting the court to hear the application immediately during the vacation period.
