Mighty Jets and City FC Relegated from NNL

In the Nigeria National League (NNL), Mighty Jets and City FC have been relegated after finishing at the bottom of the league table. Mighty Jets concluded the season with a total of 16 points from 14 matches, despite achieving a 2-1 victory at home against FC Basira in their final encounter.

City FC suffered a 0-1 defeat at home against Lobi Stars, sealing their relegation. Meanwhile, Doma FC, who lost their last game 3-1 to Kada Warriors, still secured promotion to the elite league with a total of 26 points, ahead of their closest rival, Lobi Stars, who finished with 23 points.

The NNL chairman, Mr. Georg Aluo, expressed satisfaction with the conclusion of the season and hopes for the league to produce worthy champions in the upcoming season.
