NNPC Ltd and Dangote Group Unite for Energy Security

NNPC Ltd, led by Engr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari, has entered into a strategic alliance with the Dangote Group to bolster Nigeria's energy security and economic growth.

This partnership was solidified during a high-level discussion at the Dangote Refinery and Petrochemical Complex in Ibeju Lekki, Lagos State. The collaboration aims to strengthen operational and commercial relationships between the two entities, reaffirming their shared vision for Nigeria's energy future.

Engr. Ojulari praised Alhaji Aliko Dangote's vision for the refinery project, which is expected to deliver 650,000 barrels per day, positioning Nigeria as a major downstream hub in Africa.

The alliance is anticipated to unlock synergies across assets and capital markets, enhancing visibility for both NNPC and Dangote's business relations. Furthermore, Ojulari expressed appreciation for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's leadership in the oil and gas sector, highlighting the government's commitment to creating an investor-friendly environment.

NNPC currently holds a 7.25% stake in Dangote's refinery, aligning with its downstream growth objectives.
