NNPC Reports N535bn Profit for June 2026

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) announced a Profit After Tax (PAT) of N535 billion for June 2026, marking a 15.8% increase from the N462 billion recorded in May. This information was released in the company's monthly financial and operations report on Friday.

The total revenue for June stood at N4.389 trillion, while cumulative statutory payments to the Federation from January to June 2026 rose to N6.286 trillion, highlighting NNPC Limited's ongoing contribution to national revenue generation. Average crude oil and condensate production slightly decreased to 1.72 million barrels per day (mmbopd) from 1.73 mmbopd in May, attributed to operational disruptions and facility integrity issues.

However, natural gas production increased to 7.841 million standard cubic feet per day from 7.774 mmscf/d in May, reflecting a 0.86% rise. The report also noted that the Obiafu-Obrikom-Oben (OB3) Gas Pipeline is 98% complete, with First Gas expected in August 2026, and the Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano Gas Pipeline is 94% complete, aiming for early gas delivery to Abuja in 2026.
