NNPC Limited Reports ₦535bn Profit for June 2026

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Limited) recorded a profit after tax of ₦535 billion for June 2026, marking a 15.8% increase from the ₦462 billion reported in May. This information is detailed in the company’s Monthly Financial and Operations Report for June 2026.

Total revenue for the month was ₦4.389 trillion, and cumulative statutory payments to the Federation from January to June 2026 rose to ₦6.286 trillion, highlighting NNPC Limited’s ongoing contribution to national revenue. Average crude oil and condensate production experienced a slight decline, averaging 1.72 million barrels per day (mmbopd) compared to 1.73 mmbopd in May, attributed to operational disruptions and facility integrity issues.

In contrast, natural gas production increased to 7.841 million standard cubic feet per day (mmscf/d) from 7.774 mmscf/d in May, reflecting a 0.86% rise. The Obiafu-Obrikom-Oben (OB3) Gas Pipeline project is 98% complete, with First Gas expected in August 2026, while the Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano (AKK) Gas Pipeline is 94% complete, aiming for early gas delivery to Abuja in 2026.
