NNPC Revenue Surges to N4.97 Trillion in April 2026

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) announced a significant revenue increase to N4.97 trillion in April 2026, up from N2.77 trillion in March, representing a 79% month-on-month growth. The company's profit before tax also saw a substantial rise to N481 billion in April, compared to N276 billion in March, indicating a 74% increase.

From January to April 2026, NNPC remitted a total of N3.71 trillion in statutory payments to the federal government, an increase from N2.89 trillion in the first three months of the year. The report highlighted an increase in crude oil and condensate production to 1.68 million barrels per day in April, up from 1.56 million barrels per day in March.

Additionally, natural gas production remained stable at 7.7 billion standard cubic feet per day, with gas sales averaging 4.65 billion standard cubic feet per day. NNPC achieved a major infrastructure milestone in April with the advancement of the OB3 River Niger pipeline segment, contributing to Nigeria's gas infrastructure goals.
