NNPCL Reports ₦535 Billion Profit for June 2026

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) reported a Profit After Tax (PAT) of ₦535 billion for June 2026, marking a 15.8% increase from the ₦462 billion recorded in May. This financial statement was released on NNPCL's official X account.

The company generated ₦4.389 trillion in revenue during June, demonstrating strong financial performance despite a minor decline in crude oil production. NNPCL's average crude oil and condensate output fell slightly to 1.72 million barrels per day in June from 1.73 million barrels per day in May, attributed to operational disruptions and facility integrity issues.

Conversely, natural gas production increased to 7.841 million standard cubic feet per day, a 0.86% rise from May. NNPCL also reported that its cumulative statutory payments to the Federation from January to June 2026 reached ₦6.286 trillion.

Key gas infrastructure projects, including the Obiafu-Obrikom-Oben Gas Pipeline and the Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano Gas Pipeline, are nearing completion, supporting future gas delivery targets.
