FG Plans Quiet Independence Day Celebration, Unveils National Value Charter - Focus on Unity

The Federal Government announced a quiet Independence Day celebration for Nigeria's 65th Anniversary, focusing on reflection, national unity, and responsible citizenship. The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, revealed the theme "Hands on Deck" for the celebration, emphasizing activities like national student debates and unveiling the National Value Charter.

The Charter aims to instill national pride and civic responsibility, outlining the government's pledge and citizens' commitment to equality, freedom, entrepreneurship, and more. The National Orientation Agency (NOA) plans to engage stakeholders through sensitization campaigns and digital platforms to promote these values and engage the community.
