NOA Launches CHLEEAN App for Enhanced Citizen Engagement

The National Orientation Agency (NOA) unveiled the CHLEEAN mobile application on Monday in Abuja, designed to deepen citizen engagement and bring the government closer to the people. The acronym CHLEEAN stands for Crime, Lawlessness, Health, Education, Environment, and Abuse of the Nation.

The app aims to provide Nigerians with real-time access to information and a platform for interaction and feedback. Lanr Issa Onilu, the Director General of NOA, emphasized that the app represents a shift towards digital governance, ensuring every Nigerian is informed and heard.

The app incorporates artificial intelligence and supports multiple Nigerian languages, including Yoruba, Hausa, and Igbo, with plans to add more. This initiative aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's agenda for a transparent and inclusive government, reflecting a commitment to building trust between citizens and the government.

The NOA encourages Nigerians to download the app, available on Android and iOS platforms, to actively participate in governance.
