Nollywood Actress Angela Okorie Remains in Prison Despite Meeting Bail Conditions

Nollywood actress Angela Okorie is still in custody at the Suleja Correctional Center despite meeting the bail conditions set by the Federal High Court in Abuja. The court approved her bail with a sum of 5 million naira and required a level 13 civil servant as surety.

Efforts by prominent activists and public figures like Omoyele Sowore, veteran actress Mama G, actor Stanley Onyebuchi Amuchie, and advocate Randy Peter have been made to secure her release. However, delays in the execution of the bail have prevented her from being released.

Actor Stanley Onyebuchi Amuchie shared on Instagram that the bail conditions were met and the process was completed within official hours on Friday, making her release impossible over the weekend.
