Actress Angela Okorie Remains in Prison Despite Meeting Bail Conditions

Nollywood actress and singer Angela Okorie is currently held in Suleja Prison despite meeting the bail conditions of N5 million set by the Federal High Court in Abuja. The court granted her bail on Friday, with sureties including a level 13 civil servant and interventions from activists like Omoyele Sowore, Mama P, actor Stanley Onyekachukwu Amuchie, and Randy Peter.

Despite fulfilling the bail requirements, Angela Okorie remains in custody, leading to social media controversy. Actor Stanley Onyekachukwu Amuchie took to Instagram to explain the delay, assuring the public that Angela would be released on Monday.

He clarified that the bail application process was completed late on Friday, causing the delay in her release until Monday.
