North Central APC Endorses Tinubu for 2027 Elections

During a zonal congress held on Wednesday at the Aliyu Akw Doma Banquet Hall in Lafia, Nasarawa State, the North Central zone of the All Progressives Congress (APC) unanimously adopted Bola Tinubu as its sole presidential candidate for the 2027 elections. The congress, attended by various party stakeholders, including governors and former ministers, resulted in a resolution to support Tinubu's re-election bid, citing his economic reforms as a primary reason.

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State, who chaired the congress, emphasized the importance of unity within the party and urged members to work diligently towards victory in the upcoming elections. The congress also produced a new zonal executive through a consensus process.

Notable attendees included governors from Benue, Kogi, Niger, and other states, who expressed satisfaction with the party's current leadership and the need for continued support for Tinubu's administration. The APC's national chairman, Nentaw Yilwatda, commended the North Central zone for its loyalty and commitment to the party's agenda.
