North comfortable with Tinubu’s governance approach  — Bwala

Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, stated that the North is comfortable with Tinubu's governance approach, contrary to claims by former SGF Babachir Lawal. Lawal had accused Tinubu of neglecting the North and cutting ongoing federal projects in the region.

However, Bwala mentioned that significant northern politicians have formed a forum ahead of the 2027 election to address issues affecting the region and support Tinubu. Bwala dismissed Lawal's claims, stating that the North is extremely comfortable with Tinubu's government and his problem-solving abilities.

He emphasized that the presidency is aware of Nigerians' complaints about hardship and is making conscious efforts to address them. Bwala also noted that the opposition party is fabricating an agenda against Tinubu due to his administration's performance.
