Presidency Breaks Silence on Claims of Tinubu ‘Yorubanizing’ Nigeria, “The Fact”

The Presidency has responded to claims of Bola Tinubu 'Yorubanizing' Nigeria, with Daniel Bwala, a special adviser on policy communication, calling the allegations baseless and backed by facts. Bwala, in an interview with Channels TV, dismissed former SGF Babachir Lawal's remarks as inaccurate and driven by personal sentiments.

He emphasized that President Tinubu has never spoken ill of Lawal despite political differences and urged him to prioritize national interest over personal grievances. The accusation of 'Yorubalisation' was also debunked by Bwala.

Meanwhile, former SGF Babachir Lawal had aligned with Rabiu accusing Tinubu's administration of neglecting infrastructure development in the North. In another development, a PDP chieftain suggested that former President Goodluck Jonathan should emerge as the party's presidential candidate in 2023, rather than Peter Obi.
