Northern Elders Call for Reconciliation Between Muslims and Christians in Northern Nigeria

Northern elders, including Dr. Hakeem Baba Ahmed and Professor Yusuf Usman, visited the headquarters of the Northern Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and Jama'atu Nasril Islam (JNI) in Northern Nigeria.

Dr. Hakeem led a delegation on a reconciliation mission to foster peace and unity between Muslims and Christians in the region.

The newly formed Northern Reconciliation Group (NRG) aims to promote harmony among the two religious groups who have faced crises over the years. Reverend Joseph John Hayab and Professor Khalid Abubakar Aliyu emphasized the need for unity and cooperation to resolve misunderstandings and conflicts in Northern Nigeria.
