Northern Elders Lead Reconciliation Between Muslims and Christians in Northern Nigeria

The Northern Elders, led by Hakeem Baba-Ahmed and Yusuf Usman, have launched a reconciliation movement between Muslims and Christians in Northern Nigeria to address growing tensions and allegations of religious targeting. The newly formed Northern Reconciliation Group (NRG) aims to foster harmony and understanding between the two faiths.

The initiative comes in response to reported threats of military action against Nigeria and concerns over insecurity in the region. Reverend Joseph John Hayab and Professor Khalid Abubakar Aliyu expressed confidence in the reconciliation process, emphasizing the need for unity and collaboration to address the country's challenges.
