Northern Governors Express Sorrow Over Hajiya Jega's Death

The Northern States Governors Forum (NSGF), chaired by Gombe State Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, mourned the passing of Hajiya Hadiza Jega, the wife of Professor Jega. In a statement issued by his spokesperson Ismaila Uba Misilli, Governor Yahaya described her death as a profound loss that creates a significant vacuum in the lives of her family and community.

He highlighted her life marked by humility, grace, and strong devotion to family values. The governor urged the bereaved family to find solace in the exemplary life she lived and the enduring legacy of kindness and faith she left behind.

He extended deepest sympathies to Professor Jega, their children, and the entire family, praying that Almighty Allah grants them strength and patience to bear this irreparable loss. Additionally, he prayed for the repose of Hajiya Hadiza's soul, asking Allah for forgiveness of her shortcomings and acceptance of her good deeds, ultimately granting her Aljannatul Firdau.
