Northern Governors Mourn Kebbi Assembly Speaker Zuru

The Northern State Governor Forum expressed deep sorrow following the death of Muhammad Usman Zuru, the Speaker of the Kebbi State House of Assembly, who passed away in the early hours of Tuesday in Egypt. The forum's chairman, Governor Muhammadu Yahaya of Gombe State, described Zuru's death as a significant loss not only to Kebbi State but to the entire northern region of Nigeria.

In a statement issued by the Director General of Press Affairs, Ismaila Uba Misilli, the forum acknowledged Zuru as a distinguished leader who made immense contributions to governance and legislative stability. Yahaya emphasized Zuru's legacy of selfless service and unwavering loyalty to democratic ideals.

The forum extended condolences to the Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris, and the family of the deceased, offering prayers for Zuru's soul and asking for divine forgiveness and reward for his lifetime of service.
