NOTAP Takes Action to Curb Capital Flight in Nigerian Gaming Sector

The National Office for Technology Acquisition and Promotion (NOTAP) is intensifying efforts to reduce capital flight in Nigeria's gaming sector by ensuring technology transfer agreements protect national interests. NOTAP aims to promote indigenous innovation and fair partnerships in the industry.

At a stakeholder workshop facilitated by Azare Consulting Limited, NOTAP emphasized the need for transparent and mutually beneficial technology agreements to prevent millions of dollars from leaving the country annually. The Director-General of NOTAP highlighted the importance of deriving tangible value from foreign technology agreements through knowledge transfer to support local capacity building and innovation in the gaming sector.
