Nigeria to Export Labor Globally to Boost Employment and Protect Workers

The Nigerian Technical Aid Corps (NTAC) announces plans for Nigeria to export labor globally to create employment opportunities and protect Nigerian workers abroad. The NTAC boss highlighted achievements and initiatives to deploy Nigerian experts to Africa, the Caribbean, and the Pacific.

The Federal Government intends to sign agreements with other countries to safeguard Nigerian workers and discourage irregular migration. The NTAC is transforming into a hub for exporting manpower, emphasizing soft power diplomacy.

The move aims to reduce unemployment, generate revenue, and prevent exploitation and deaths during migration. The NTAC's efforts align with the government's foreign policy agenda, with 300 Nigerian volunteers currently serving abroad and plans to increase this number to 400 by October's end.
