Nottingham Forest Signs Daniel Munoz for £22 Million

Nottingham Forest has completed the signing of Colombia right-back Daniel Munoz from Crystal Palace for £22 million. Munoz reunites with current coach Oliver Glasner at the City Ground, having previously won the FA Cup and Conference League together at Crystal Palace.

He has signed a three-year contract after spending two and a half years at Selhurst Park, where he made 109 appearances and scored 11 goals. Munoz expressed excitement about joining Forest, noting the team's talent and ambition, and highlighted their recent competitive history, including reaching the semi-finals of the Europa League.

Forest's chief football officer, George Syrianos, praised Munoz's strong performances in the Premier League and European competitions, stating that he possesses the mentality and ambition to make a significant contribution to the club. Munoz could make his debut in the Premier League on Saturday, following Forest's losses in their opening two games.
