NPA Mourns Paul Ikherovba Erakhifu's Passing

The Nigerian Port Authority (NPA) expressed deep sorrow over the death of Paul Ikherovba Erakhifu, affectionately known as "Texa." He passed away on May 1, 2026, after a distinguished career at NPA, where he began as a junior staff member on October 17, 1994, and rose to the position of senior staff at grade level 13. Ikechukwu Onyemekara, the General Manager of Corporate Affairs at NPA, praised Erakhifu's dedication, discipline, and significant contributions to the organization's growth and corporate image.

Erakhifu was noted for his commitment to his craft, having earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Literature in 2005 and a Master’s degree in International Relations in 2012. He also obtained a Master of Science in Mass Communication and trained at the London Film Academy and the USA School of Photography.

His passing leaves a considerable void, and he is remembered for his sense of humor and contributions to knowledge through authorship.
