USM Khenchela Targets Shooting Stars Midfielder Ayobami

Junior Ayobami, a midfielder for Shooting Stars in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), is reportedly attracting interest from the Algerian club USM Khenchela following the expiration of his contract with Shooting Stars. Ayobami played a crucial role in Shooting Stars’ qualification for the CAF Confederation Cup last season.

In response to his potential departure, Shooting Stars is interested in offering Ayobami an improved contract should he choose to remain with the club. The player is expected to make a decision regarding his future before the start of the 2026-27 season.

Throughout his career, Ayobami has made 96 appearances for Shooting Stars and has previously played for Kano Pillars and Kwara United.
